Update the full range of your chainsaw skills with our dedicated refresher course. This course is for those already operating in industry who need to complete refresher training as set out in the Chainsaws at Work INDG317 document.

This course is a combined maintenance, cross-cutting, and basic felling Lantra refresher and is designed for the forestry industry.  This meets the requirements of the Forest Industry Safety Accord (FISA).

By the end of the course, you’ll have worked through:

  • Safety, health and welfare
  • Biosecurity
  • Chainsaw maintenance
  • Cross-cutting
  • Felling

You’ll receive a Lantra Certificate of Competence upon completion of the course.
