Will these courses pay for themselves?
The tree surgery industry is absolutely booming in the UK in 2017, and rates of pay are good and rising. A competent freelance climber could well charge over £150 per day at the moment, so if you undertook one of our courses for Experienced Operators, your investment could pay back in 25 days! From then on you could be earning at £750 per week or more.
However, the real money is to be earned working direct for clients, and this is catered for by the Combination Arborist Course. Domestic customers are often paying £550 – £600 per day for a 2 man treework team. These figures vary in different areas of the country – in London and the suburbs rates are significantly higher. You would need to supply your own equipment and fuel, but if you employed a climber to help you at £150 per day, you would still have around £450 to pay your bills and have a very good income. It’s a no-brainer!
If you invest in one thing, make it yourself!
Become a qualified arborist in the UK and beyond, on our 4 week course, £2,900 including all training, assessments and VAT.
NPTC qualifications are well regarded across the world and independently assessed to a high standard.
Trainees would need to have good English because the assessments cannot be conducted in other languages, and previous experience within this industry would be an advantage.
